Growing up in a military family means packing up and moving before you've finished unpacking. New schools, new bases, new countries — sometimes every couple of years.
What you learn fast is that home isn't a place. It's the people, the patches on a jacket, the shirt that says something true about who you are no matter where you land. Custom gear has always been deep in military culture — unit pride, family names, hometown roots worn on your sleeve even when home is three time zones away.
After years of travel — bases and deployments, living out of suitcases and shipping containers — we put down roots in Florida. And we started making things. Custom pieces for family first, then friends, then anyone who wanted to wear something that actually meant something to them. That became Bold Type Graphics.
Today we run direct-to-film vinyl, sublimation, UV printing, and laser engraving in-house out of Florida. No minimums. No middlemen. Just a small, hardworking crew that looks at every order that comes through and takes pride in getting it right — the same way a military family does anything.
